Seller and contact information
RenterSet is the customer-facing seller. For the business contact address, phone and support email, see Contact & Store Information.
What information is collected
When you begin checkout or order, we may process your name, email, phone, destination, delivery address, selected items, payment provider reference and transaction status. Checkout attempts may be stored before payment succeeds. We also use information you provide when contacting support or requesting a return.
Our shopping bag uses a browser cookie; the server checks products, prices and availability. Payment card details are handled by the selected payment provider, not by RenterSet's cart.
Why it is used
Order records are used to take payment, request supplier fulfillment, send receipts, resolve shipping and delivery questions, detect duplicate transactions, investigate refunds and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations.
Service providers
Payments, once enabled, are processed by the selected provider (such as PayPal or Stripe). RenterSet does not collect card numbers or CVV on its checkout form. We use order and shipping records for fulfillment, customer support and related legal obligations. Delivery information is shared only with the fulfillment and shipping partners needed to deliver an actual order. Historical orders may still require support from their original logistics providers. Order data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure.
These services may process data in other countries. The specific payment method and available delivery destinations are disclosed at checkout.
